Wrinkles and the Natural Remedy for Youthful Skin

Nothing says “old” like a lot of wrinkles on your skin. We all hate them and most women work hard to eliminate them or keep them at bay. Well, cheer up, because there are a lot of skin care remedies you can use to naturally keep your skin young and vibrant.

Coconut oil is probably the most well-known and often-used of these remedies. The trick here is to make sure you're using real coconut oil and that's it's pure – or at least purely organic and natural. Most coconut oils sold in stores are mixed with many other things and aren't necessarily even made from the oil of actual coconuts. Artificial or “extracts” of coco are common. Make sure to read the labels for the products you purchase. Pure coconut oil is usually available in health food stores or beauty salons.
The best way to utilize coconut oil is after washing and before bed. Rub it into clean skin carefully and well, then sleep with it on. In the morning, rinse it off using a light, cotton towel and before long, you'll have and be maintaining beautiful, healthy, younger-looking skin.
Your vitamin regimen should also be tailored to include skin care. Vitamin E is probably the most important skin care supplement and should be added, but the B vitamins as well as A and C are also very important and shouldn't be neglected. Foods rich in these vitamins as well as supplements should be included in your diet.
For a rich mixture to sooth, moisturize, and freshen your skin as well as revitalize it to reduce wrinkles is often called by women today as “Natural Botox.” It is, in a word, a natural way to somewhat mimic the unnatural effects of the injections some women get in the doctor's office for inject-able cosmetic surgery.
This natural “Botox” is a rich mixture of real cream (cow or goat), olive oil (pure, not virgin), and honey. Mixed together well to form a thick cream to which is added egg whites, this somewhat expensive, but very hearty skin cream can be spread on the face and back of the hands. Rub it in well and leave it for a few minutes. Rinse and repeat until you've had your fill or run out of cream.
The recipe is simple: a quarter cup of cream, four tablespoons of olive oil, two tablespoons of honey, and one egg white from a large egg.
Polynesian women swear by the core of the pineapple as a natural skin care and wrinkle-reducing remedy. Simple cut the pineapple as usual, but set the core aside. Cut the core into thick “coins” or rounds and rub these on the face, paying attention to wrinkle-prone areas, does wonders for your skin. Leave the juice on for at least five minutes before rinsing.
Finally, the old wives' remedy of always applying skin care products in an upward, circular motion helps keep skin tight and firm by not pulling it downward, which mimics gravity's pull. This is especially true around the eyes and corners of the mouth. While this may or may not be true, it can't hurt.
